Motivation
A story that needs to be told and one that has to be heard. See the world through innocent eyes without prejudice and discover how one boy learns about the harsh reality of life and is thrown into a world that should not be. Seen from a culture that is drenched in tradition and respect for the seen and unseen

To bring attention to the hardships of spending long days begging on the streets to survive. We intend to soften the viewers hardened attitude towards those who are constantly in need.

To illustrate how a child is capable of seeing the good in everything and has not yet been tainted with anger and fear as we as adults have become.

To show how love can cross cultural boundaries and survive when all else seems lost.

To teach the viewer about Zulu/african culture: their belief and respect in their ancestors and how it plays a part in their life.

Basically, this is a story we want to tell, to expose a sector of South African society that is normally marginalized and, often, dismissed with contempt. We hope to show that we share a common humanity, one in which we all have the same threads of basic human needs and that, ultimately, love in all its forms (grandmother:grandson, friend:friend, husband:wife), can overcome pretty much any obstacle.

In a nutshell we want to uplift the audience while increasing awareness and attention paid to the environment we live in.
